    Terms of Use

    Last updated

    These terms apply to serptimes.com ("SERP Times"), run by Akif Qureshi, an individual based in India. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

    Reading and quoting our content

    Everything on SERP Times is free to read. You're welcome to quote short passages in your own work, as long as you credit SERP Times and link to the original article. Please don't republish whole articles, or large parts of them, without written permission.

    The Google Update Tracker lists dates that Google publishes on its Search Status Dashboard. You can reference it freely, with a link back.

    Using the free tools

    The free tools are provided as they are, for lawful use. Please:

    • don't send automated or bulk requests, or try to get round the fair-use limit or the bot check;
    • don't use the URL checkers to overload, probe or attack other websites;
    • check important results yourself. Tool results, such as estimated pixel widths, are estimates and can differ from what search engines show.

    We may limit or block use that harms the service or other people.

    Not professional advice

    Our articles and tools are general information about search and marketing, not professional, legal or financial advice. The disclaimer explains this in more detail.

    We link to other sites, such as Google's documentation, for reference. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

    Names and trademarks

    The SERP Times name, logo and original content belong to Akif Qureshi. Google, Search Console and other product names are trademarks of their owners. SERP Times is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Google or any company we write about.

    Our responsibility

    We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or online. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using the site or the tools, or from relying on them. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

    Changes

    We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

    Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
